About Plumber Hendra
Plumber Hendra is a locally owned and operated plumbing and gasfitting business working Hendra and the streets around it. Every job runs under QBCC No: 15024607, a licence spanning plumbing, drainage and gasfitting together, so no residential job needs a second trade.

Who We Are
We are a small crew of plumbers and gasfitters, not a franchise or a call centre that passes your job to whoever is free. The person who quotes the work does it.
The suburb is named for a railway station called out in 1882, a Cornish word for an old hamlet. Houses around it grew with the racing trade, most built before the postwar years, and their pipes show it.
Galvanised supply pipe
still runs in the walls of the older weatherboard cottages, and it rusts through at the joints.
Earthenware drains
were assembled from short pipe sections joined with cement, and decades of shifting ground have had time to loosen those sockets.
One big hot water tank
outside a family home builds up scale through its working life, gives less hot water as the years go on, and ends its days weeping from the bottom.
How We Work
Every job starts the same way, whatever the size of it.
A fixed quote before work starts
You see the price in writing and approve it before any tools come out of the van.
Lifetime Labour Warranty
Each job is done by a licensed plumber under QBCC No: 15024607, and a lifetime labour warranty covers the labour.
Card and EFTPOS on site
When the job is done, you pay on the spot. Nothing to chase later.
Because the housing here went up in one stretch, the same faults repeat street by street, and our plumbers know what to expect under these floors before the first fitting comes apart.
Where We Work
Our run covers Nundah, Hamilton, Ascot and Clayfield, and the service range is the same everywhere: emergency plumbing, general plumbing, drainage and hot water.
We work these streets most weeks rather than operating from an office in any one of them, which keeps the drive short and a booked visit easy to hold to.

Questions About Our Business
Call (07) 3067 4276Who actually carries out the work at my place?
One of our own licensed plumbers or gasfitters does every job from start to finish, and the same tradesman who quotes the work on your Hendra property is the one who turns up.
What licence does the business hold?
The business holds QBCC No: 15024607, a licence that covers the plumbing and drainage and gasfitting classes, so water pipes, sewers and gas lines are all within scope on one booking.
Which suburbs do you work in?
Our regular run takes in Hendra plus Nundah, Hamilton, Ascot and Clayfield, and we take jobs across the suburbs between them, so a plumber who knows these streets is never far away.
How do you charge for a job?
You get a fixed quote before any work starts, and the price you approve on the day is the price you pay at the end of the job, with nothing added once work begins.
How can I pay when the job is finished?
When the work is finished you can pay by card or EFTPOS on site, which means there is no invoice to wait for and no transfer to arrange after the van leaves your street.
How do I book a plumber for my job?
Call (07) 3067 4276 and describe the problem at your home; we arrange a time, send a licensed plumber, and give you the quote in writing before any work begins.
